Daily Oil, Gold, Silver Technical Analysis | September 20, 2022

Gold maintains the position near $1,680

Gold prices stick near the $1,680 – $1,700 area after the breakout. It seems traders are awaiting the announcement of the interest rates by the Fed this week. Will we see an upward movement and close above $1,700 to cancel the current bearish pressure? Alternatively, will we see a bearish continuation to target the $1,585 – $1,600 area?

Today’s critical levels to watch:

FBS The Best Forex Broker

Support: $1,600, $1,585

Resistance: $1,680, $1,700, $1,780, $1,800

Silver is steady at the middle of $18.50 – $20.00

The movement of silver prices was mostly sideways after the bearish attempt toward $18.50. We have a bullish reaction but no continuation above the $20.00 handle yet. A close above $20.00 is needed to confirm upward continuation toward the $21.35 resistance level. Under the current situation, it is better to wait and see until the price close either above $20.00 or below $18.50.

Today’s Critical levels to watch:

Support: $18.50, $17.73, $17.50, $16.00

Resistance: $20.00, $21.35

Crude oil maintains the $85.00 level

There was a major bearish attempt on the $85.00 handle which failed to make a close below it. Crude oil prices made a bullish recovery and close above the $85.00 handle at the end of the day. Today, the price experience the same situation as yesterday. At the current time, the price has made recovery above the $85.00 handle. If the price could continue to maintain the closing above $85.00 and surpass $90.00 then we will see a test on the $95.25 resistance level.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: $85.00

Resistance: $90.00, $95.25, $100.00
