Global multi-asset investment platform eToro has entered into a sponsorship deal with Czech Football Club SK Slavia Prague. The company announced the deal with the reigning Czech football champion on Wednesday in a multi-million dollar partnership.
eToro was set up in 2007 and has grown to become a top social investment network in the world. The company boasts of an impressive 20 million registered users throughout the world.
With the sponsorship deal, eToro will see its logo featured on Slavia Prague’s official team wear, which includes jerseys for the men, women, and youth teams.
eToro keeps promoting its brand
A lot of things are going on for eToro at the moment. The broker is preparing to go public on the US stock exchange. It also wants to merge with an American blank-check company. Earlier in June, eToro stated that trading activities on its platform surged by 233% in the first quarter of 2021. It has also registered an increased number of retail clients.
The broker is also doing well in terms of market efforts and promotion of its brand. It recently extended its partnership deal with France football club AS Monaco. Earlier this month, it completed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with the reigning champion f Romanian football, CFR 1907 Cluj.
Vice-President of SK Slavia Prague Tomáš Syrovátka, commented on the partnership, stating that the club is excited about the development and looking forward to working with eToro. “[…] we welcome eToro to the Slavia family as a new general partner of the club,” he stated.
The partnership will strengthen eToro’s business relationship
eToro is now new to the Czech Republic’s market, as the broker has been providing services in the country since 2017. However, the latest sponsorship deal with one of the top football teams will strengthen the relationship, especially among fans.
Vice President of Marketing at eToro Nir Smulewicz stated that the partnership is to drive more investments from people in the country. He added that the Czech Republic market is very important for the growth of the company, and it’s rigorously pursuing strategic goals to expand its market there.
Smulewicz added that the aim of collaborating with SK Slavia Prague is to enable fans to grow their wealth through investing.
He also said that the company is on a strategic goal to let fans understand that investment is not for a select few but everyone. It can also be accessible everywhere, including at football matches. Sometimes, the investment method may be interesting to the users than they imagined, and that’s what eToro is trying to prove to fans, he reiterated.
