The Java Global Futures, a broker firm based in Jakarta, is one of the Indonesian Derivatives Cleaning House, Indonesia Futures Association (ASPEBTIDO), and Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), has emerged as one of the very first brokers in Indonesia to service the multi-asset HFT platform to its marketers. This comes after the forex trading platform developer MetaQuotes announced that MetaTrader 5 had discovered a new demand with distinct opportunities that can be explored in Indonesia.

The COO of Jakarta Futures exchange, Mr. Vincent Yohanes Chandra explains that the Indonesian demand is uncharted waters for the MetaTrader 5 as most people are better acquainted with the MetaTrader 4. As expected, this change has been met with resistance from most people for one reason or the other. Mostly because resistance is a natural reaction to change for people. Never the less, with hard work, through creating awareness and marketing, and by showing how far better MetaTrader 5 is as compared to MetaTrader 4, results have begun to yield positively as people warm up to the new technology.
