Our notice includes more than 60 companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges.
This is a landmark step toward a truly global, 24/7 Wall Street — and toward keeping the future of digital finance anchored here in the United States.
The digital asset revolution is already transforming our financial system. Tokenized securities are part of what comes next.
And we’re just getting started.

OKXICE Targets Tokenized Trading for Listed Securities
According to Cuomo, the notice covers more than 60 companies currently listed on US stock exchanges. The proposed venue would operate under the SEC’s new Innovation Exemption framework. Cuomo described the development as a step toward a global, 24-hour trading environment for financial markets. He also explained the significance of tokenized securities saying that they could play an important role in the development of digital finance.
The proposed structure will likely allow investors to access tokenized representations of traditional securities beyond conventional market hours. However, the specific assets, trading arrangements, and launch timeline have not been made public yet.
OKX and ICE Join Tokenization Push
OKXICE combines the cryptocurrency infrastructure of OKX with the traditional financial-market expertise of ICE. ICE operates the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and other market infrastructure.
The joint venture’s proposed venue places tokenized securities at the intersection of traditional capital markets and blockchain infrastructure. The initiative reflects growing efforts to bring equities and other traditional financial assets to blockchains.
If the proposed venue proceeds under the Innovation Exemption framework, it is going to provide a regulated structure for trading tokenized securities. The development comes at a time when financial institutions and digital-asset companies are exploring alternatives for issuing, trading, and settling traditional financial assets.
