On Sunday, U.S officials said that American firms will be granted licenses to sell products to Huawei very shortly. It is positive news and gives a boost to the global stock market. If the situation continue positive then we might see a fresh high printed on DJIA in several days.

Asian & European Stock market

The Asian stock market mostly higher today. Japan’s stock market closed for holiday, China stock market up 17.29 points (+0.58%) to 2,975.49, and Australia ASX 200 up 17.80 points (+0.27%) to 6,686.90. The European stock market mostly higher. DAX Germany up 1.22%, UK FTSE up 1.09%, Euro STOXX600 up 0.93%

Technical Analysis

Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)

DJIA closed above the trendline and initially confirm the possible uptrend to print further fresh high. At the current time, DJIA futures pointed upward more than 100 points before the market open. Without any change in the direction, DJIA expected to continue upward and print fresh yearly high.

AK Steel Holding (AKS)

AKS climbed above the daily SMA 200 and currently maintains the position near it. The share prices might bounce upward and continue moving up. At the current time, there is a triangle formation seen on the chart. Traders will continue to monitor the share price movement inside the triangle.

Kroger Co (KR)

KR share prices traded near the daily SMA 200. The share prices also have a similar triangle pattern compared to AKS. Which direction will KR share prices breakout to?
