Wall Street Rebounds as AI Surge Lifts Stocks

Major U.S. stock benchmarks staged a recovery today as a surge in AI-related tech stocks, alongside falling crude oil prices and Treasury yields, energized market sentiment. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 419.44 points (+0.81%) to close at 52,102.08, while the S&P 500 rose 1.62% to 7,774.11. The tech-heavy Nasdaq led performance, jumping 2.30% to close at 27,131.25.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

FBS The Best Forex Broker

Dow Jones Industrial Average staged a firm bounce off its daily 100 EMA at 51,796.47, turning higher to finish above 52,100. This rebound positions the index for a potential retest of its previously broken ascending trendline. On the upside, the previously broken swing low around 52,700 serves as the primary resistance level and target to watch. If buying momentum fails near this resistance, seller pressure could push price action back down toward the daily 200 EMA near 50,255.43 as the next major support zone.

Union Pacific Corporation (UNP)

Union Pacific Corporation (UNP) dropped sharply, slipping below the daily 100 EMA at $281.30 and breaking through an ascending trendline, which could serve as bearish confirmation. However, price action is currently approaching key dynamic support near the daily 200 EMA at $267.95. Traders will observe how the stock reacts around this indicator. If share prices manage to stabilize, it could provide an opportunity for long positions targeting a bounce back toward the broken trendline, with risk managed via a stop-loss order placed below the previous swing low or around $250.00.
