Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered crypto bank, has partnered with Securitize, a leading tokenization platform. The collaboration is set to enable the direct minting and redemption of its stablecoins on Securitize. This will strengthen the settlement infrastructure supporting institutional tokenized assets.

The partnership is designed to streamline the movement of dollars in and out of tokenized markets. The aim is to give institutional investors greater control over the cash side of tokenized transactions without relying on intermediaries. Anchorage announced this news today via an offcial tweet.

Anchorage Brings Federally Regulated Stablecoins to Securitize
Under the agreement, Securitize can now directly mint and redeem stablecoins issued by Anchorage Digital Bank. The collaboration seeks to align the standards applied to cash settlement with those used for tokenized securities.
Anchorage Digital Bank’s stablecoin ecosystem includes $USDtb, issued in partnership with Ethena Labs, and USA₮, developed with Tether.
The partnership highlights the growing overlap between stablecoins and tokenized money market funds. According to an independently attested reserve report, approximately 99% of USDtb’s $530 million in reserves were held in BlackRock’s BUIDL fund. Securitize provides tokenization infrastructure for BUIDL. This connection illustrates how stablecoin reserves and tokenized investment products can operate within the same digital asset ecosystem.
Growing Tokenized Asset Market Drives Demand for Settlement Infrastructure
The collaboration comes at a time when tokenized real-world assets (RWA) are gaining traction among institutional investors. As per Anchorage Digital’s data, the tokenized RWA market grew from $23 billion at the end of 2025 to $31 billion by March 2026.
As tokenized funds, bonds, and other financial instruments expand, institutions require reliable mechanisms for moving cash. Stablecoins are a reliable and easy way to support these transactions by enabling digital-dollar transfers. Regulated issuance and custody arrangements will help address institutional concerns around operational risks.
