Daily Oil, Gold, Silver Technical Analysis | March 03, 2026

Gold target record high

Gold moved sharply lower today and found support near the $5,000 psychological level and the ascending trend line support. The reaction suggests buyers are attempting to defend the confluence zone. An immediate bounce attempt is possible from this area. However, failure to hold above $5,000 would shift focus toward deeper support levels. If selling pressure continues, the next downside targets are the major ascending trend line and the $4,545 support area. An extreme bearish scenario could expose the $4,000 level. For now, price is testing a critical support zone. The next daily close will be decisive.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

FBS The Best Forex Broker

Support: $5,000, $4,670, $4,546, $4,500, $4,380

Resistance: $5,200, $5,500

Silver bearish attempt

Silver continued its bearish movement following the previous day’s bearish close. Downside pressure remains visible, although price is currently supported by an ascending trend line. As long as the trend line holds, a technical bounce may develop. However, a clear break below this support would confirm bearish continuation and open room toward the $70.00 support zone. Momentum has shifted to the downside in the short term, but structural confirmation requires a decisive breakdown.

Support: $83.91, $80.00, $70.00

Resistance: $85.00, $100.00, $120.00

Crude oil testing $77.13

Crude oil continued its strong bullish momentum and tested the $77.13 resistance level. The breakout above $70.00 previously confirmed bullish continuation, and price is now extending toward the upper resistance zone. The structure remains clearly bullish, with higher highs and higher lows intact. A sustained move above $77.13 could open the door toward the $83.50 – $85.00 area. However, failure to break and hold above this resistance may trigger short-term consolidation between $70.00 – $77.13.

For now, momentum strongly favors buyers.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: $70.00, $67.20, $65.00, $62.00, $60.00

Resistance: $77.13
