Cboe Expands Operations Into US Fixed Income

The provider wants to expand its operations by diversifying its products and services offerings into new geographical locations and markets around the world. Cboe says it is planning to roll out the new platform in the second quarter of 2022.

The New Platform Will Lessen The Market Impact

Cboe said the goal is to help dealers on U.S. Treasuries effectively provide more liquidity and reduce market impact.

It will be leveraging the proven track record and professionalism of Cboe FX in the market. The provider has been in the industry for over two decades, earning an impressive reputation with its world-class technology

Cboe says its efficiency, trading reliability, product innovation, and cutting-edge liquidity solutions make it ready to offer additional services to users.

Senior Vice President of Cboe Global Markets, Jonathan Weinberg, commented on the development.

“We are excited to bring the best of what we do in the global FX market to the U.S. Treasuries space,” he stated.

Dealers Will Benefit Immensely From The New Platform

Jonathan added that when the new platform is launched, it will be offering solutions to some of the biggest issues that dealers are facing today. These issues include high hedging costs, information leakage, and flow segmentation.

He says the new platform will be very beneficial to liquidity providers as it will enable them to get opportunities for price improvement and interact directly with high-quality order flow.

Cboe Markets will be combining its Full Amount technology with its liquidity curation and analytics enhancement tools. The goal is to develop unique interdealer trading that’s far better than other options in the market, according to the provider.
