US fintech start-up Multicent is preparing to launch its operations in the country to provide a financial services super-app. According to the firm, the product will offer a wide range of financial products to traders across 15 countries.
The fintech platform will also provide merchant services, corporate credit cards, a cryptocurrency exchange, and commission-free investing products.
Multicent also says it’s the “world’s first global digital investment banking super-app and merchant banking platform.” The firm is serious about transforming the informal financial system which will allow every growing entrepreneur to reach their full potential.
Multicent says it already has more than 358,000 personal accounts, which includes crypto and stock trader accounts. Additionally, the firm says about 10,000 business customers are on its waiting list.
Multicent Offers More Than 750 Stocks and Crypto Pairs
The company is providing the opportunity for crypto traders to trade with different options. they can trade with more than 750 different fiat and crypto pairs, including Bitcoin (BTC), Binance Coin (BNB), and Ethereum (ETH), with as little as $1.
Multicent’s debit card will enable users to invest part of their paycheck in any crypto or stock they choose and receive payment with a direct deposit up to two days early.
Multicent, was launched in 2021 and has opened its waitlist for signups. The company will be offering its financial products to businesses, entrepreneurs, and founders, with automated expense management and real-time spend management software.
The super app will also enable payment infrastructure, and provide customized solutions to eCommerce businesses, allowing them to securely accept payments online. Additionally, the users can also accept contactless payments on Android and iPhones using Tap to Play.
Recur Club Raises $30 Million To Expand Operations
In another development, Singapore-based business-to-business (B2B) startup Recur Club has completed a $30 million funding round. The company says the additional equity will help to expand its operations and product offerings.
The funding round was led by Village Global and InfoEdge Ventures, with participation from U GRO Capital, Aditya Birla Finance, Tital Capital, and InCred Financial Services.
The startup operates in India through its Delhi-based subsidiary Recur Club Technologies. The latest investment makes it the largest seed funding in India.
