Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | October 28, 2022

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY made a bearish close with moderate momentum yesterday. The pair might start a bearish correction toward the bullish trendline where traders could enter long positions. However, there is no bearish continuation in today’s trading session. The pair currently trading upward but inside yesterday’s range. We think the pair could continue the bullish movement to target the 148.50 – 151.50 area.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 145.00, 140.50, 137.40

Resistance: 148.50, 151.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP moving lower toward the 0.8580 – 0.8600 support area and currently testing it. The pair might break out and continue the bearish trend to target 0.8500. At the current time, the pair has printed a lower low and lower high which means the bearish trend is favored. On the upside, a close above 0.8750 will become the bullish confirmation.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750, 0.8900, 0.9000

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY extend the bullish movement and printed a new higher high today. There is nothing to say about the pair for now as long as the pair continue moving upward. Traders will wait for a bearish correction toward the support level for a chance to enter long positions. The next higher low might be printed around 167.50.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 164.00, 161.00, 156.58, 153.50

Resistance: 170.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF has reached the 1.1530 – 1.1600 area today and is set to test it. A close above the area might turn the trend bullish for the medium term. If the pair start a bearish movement then 1.1200 is the support level to watch. Traders will observe the 1.1530 – 1.1600 area for a chance to enter short positions.

Support: 1.1200, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
