Trading Technologies expands market coverage to four APAC exchanges
The press release by the company said that the TT Premium Order Types would support instruments that can be accessed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX Group). TT Premium Order types are new algorithmic execution strategies tools integrated into the Trading Technologies platform.
The company will start supporting products from the three other exchanges before the end of 2022. These exchanges are the Australian Securities Exchange, the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, and the Japan Exchange Group.
The company is also paying attention to increasing the number of low-latency-based services. By adding four new markets, the total number of supported markets has now increased to eleven.
The other exchanges that are currently supported by the TT Premium Order Type include Cboe Futures Exchange, CME Group Exchange, Eurex, Euronext, Intercontinental Exchange, the London Metal Exchange, and the Montréal Exchange. as the demand for new products increases, the company will expand to new markets.
The EVP and the Chief Revenue Officer at Trading Technologies, Guy Scott, commented on the expansion of market coverage, saying, “Asset managers, hedge funds, trading groups, commodity firms, and others can apply these value-added tools to round out their macro portfolios, improve their hedging capabilities, and explore new trading and arbitrage opportunities.”
The TT Premium Order Types is a proprietary technology created by TT. This technology optimizes order management by tapping into market intelligence. It also improves order execution. The technology uses quantitative modeling for the strategic selection of order types.
Trading Technologies expands risk management offering
Mid-last month, Trading Technologies announced that it would expand its risk management offering. The company said it would do this by adding KRM22’s Risk Manager.
Through this system, users can access liquidity and margin in real-time. This gives them an added advantage in the derivatives market. Trading Technologies has worked with KRM22 since the start of 2022 after a $6.35 million investment to support the company’s growth.
In December last year, Trading Technologies sought to increase its organic growth by joining 7RIDGE. The latter is a specialized growth equity firm.
