A court filing signifies that the defunct crypto lending platform Celsius Network either wanted to or likely has plans to take some legal action against a Celsius creditor and crypto blogger. The reason behind doing this is that the platform considers the creditor named Tiffany Fong to be responsible for allegedly leaking the sensitive information.
Celsius to Reportedly Sue Tiffany Fong, Alleging Her of Leaking Sensitive Information
A screenshot published by Fong discloses that she has crypto assets of approximately $119,000 worth locked on the platform. As per the screenshot, the respective amount takes into account Polygon (MATIC), Ether (ETH), and Bitcoin (BTC) following the withdrawal halt that took place back in June last year. Since then, Fong has been keenly reporting on the Celsius bankruptcy case through YouTube as well as the rest of the platforms on social media.
On several occasions, she has leaked sensitive information. She has been frequently asserting that the respective information was privately provided to her by some former disgruntled employees of Celsius. On the 14th of April, the platform’s counsel Kirkland & Ellis International filed the 6th per-month fee statement with the bankruptcy court of the Southern District of New York.

The recently recorded work hours were reported back on the 6th of February.
It seems that no clear legal action has been formulated yet. Nonetheless, the filing indicates that the legal counsel of Celsius was particularly probing into the disclosed information that she reported via the social media accounts thereof. In that filing, the law organization also claimed to be engaged in making cease and desist letters to target Fong.
Tiffany Responds to Celsius for Consuming Client Funds in the Lawsuit against Her
In addition to this, the platform is also attempting to file a motion to direct courts to implement the request dealing with the information concerning a case. While responding to this, Fong said that the bankrupt crypto lender is utilizing the client funds for a lawsuit against a creditor regarding something that is not a legal issue according to her. In her words, she is not an employee thus the company cannot sue her for leading the information.
