EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY trading slightly upward today ahead of the Fed interest-rate decision. The movement of the pair is bullish but it could change anytime depending on the market reactions after the FOMC meeting. If the pair continue trading lower then traders will wait near the 154.00 – 155.00 area for a chance to enter long positions. No change to the situation yet, as long as the pair continues printing new higher high and higher low, the bullish trend will continue.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 155.00, 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 160.00, 162.87, 171.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP building more bullish pressure to extend the current bullish breakout. The pair will target the 0.8700 resistance level and reverse the long-term bearish trend. A close above 0.8700 will become a major bullish confirmation. However, if the pair reverses the direction and closes below 0.8580 then the situation could turn bearish again.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY continues trading sideways near the 182.45 level. Traders are waiting for the FOMC meeting today which should influence the market direction. If the pair could bounce upward with strong bullish reactions then the bullish trend could continue. On the lower side, a close below 182.45 will prompt consolidation between 178.50 – 182.45.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 182.45, 178.50, 172.00, 170.00, 168.50

Resistance:

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is back under bearish pressure today as the pair managed to fall below the previous week’s low. The pair will wait for further reactions after the FOMC meeting. If the pair could maintain the positions above 1.1100 and bounce from the support level then we might see a continuation of ranging movement between 1.1100 – 1.1225. A breakout and close below 1.1100 will confirm a bearish continuation.

Support: 1.1100, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1200, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
