Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | April 08, 2025

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY opened lower yesterday but immediately recover all of its losses. The pair might be under bearish pressure today but mostly sideways. It seems the direction unclear for now, and it might consolidate near the trend line. Traders could hold short positions assuming that the pair will fall toward 154.00 – 155.00 area. But, traders also will prepare to switch side when the pair breakout above the trend line with strong momentum.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 160.00, 155.00, 154.00

Resistance: 163.00, 165.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP completed the bullish target at the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area but no sign of weakness yet. The pair might attempt to breakout higher, print new higher swing high and target the 0.8700 – 0.8750 area next. If the pair turn lower, then traders could wait near the trend line and the 0.8500 level for bounce reactions.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8530, 0.8500

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY resume the bearish movement and has reached the 188.00 level. The pair will test the support level also the support trend line. If the pair could break out lower with strong bearish momentum, then 182.45 – 184.00 will become the area to watch as target. Traders who want to speculate with long positions will place stop order below 186.00 and use 189.40 as initial target and place to move stop order to break-even.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 190.00, 188.00

Resistance: 193.50, 195.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF continue the bearish movement below the green box area also the support trend line. It seems people are flocking to CHF as uncertainties skyrocketed. Traders who has no positions will stay sideline for now and wait until the market cool-off. The pair has retraced to close the weekly opening gap, which mean the chance for bearish continuation is higher.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1360, 1.1225, 1.1200, 1.1000, 1.0800

Resistance: 1.1400
