Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL) stock rose 13.30% (As on June 12, 11:16:47 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company in the fourth quarter surpassed analysts’ expectations and saying it expects cloud growth to accelerate in the current quarter. The company delivered a net profit of $3.43 billion overall, up from $3.14 billion it reported a year earlier. The revenue from cloud services and license support rose 14% to $11.7 billion, exceeding the Street’s target of $11.59 billion, while cloud and on-premises license revenue came to $2.01 billion, beating the $1.82 billion consensus estimate. Non-GAAP operating income was $7.0 billion, up 5% in USD and up 4% in constant currency. Short-term deferred revenues were $9.4 billion. Operating cash flow was $20.8 billion during fiscal year 2025, up 12% in USD.
Moreover, the company has currently 23 MultiCloud datacenters live with 47 more being built over the next 12 months. The company expects triple-digit MultiCloud revenue growth to continue in FY26. Revenue from Oracle Cloud@Customer datacenters grew 104% yearover-year. The company have 29 Oracle Cloud@Customer dedicated datacenters live with another 30 being built in FY26. Overall Oracle Cloud Infrastructure consumption revenue grew 62% in Q4. The company expects OCI consumption revenue to grow even faster in FY26.
ORCL in the fourth quarter of FY25 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $1.70, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $1.64. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 11 percent to $15.9 billion in the fourth quarter of FY25, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $15.59 billion.
Additionally, the company has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 per share of outstanding common stock.
For the current quarter, Oracle is looking for earnings of between $1.46 and $1.50 per share, with revenue growth forecast at between 12% and 14%, officials said. That compares to the analyst’s forecast of $1.48 per share in earnings and $14.96 billion in revenue, which would represent growth of 12.4%.
ORCL revealed that the company’s cloud computing business has more exciting prospects. The company expects cloud infrastructure revenue to grow more than 70% in the new fiscal year, accelerating from its current growth rate of 52% in the previous quarter. As a result, Oracle is targeting $67 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue, ahead of the $65.18 billion analyst forecast. Currently, the company is also on track to surpass a $104 billion revenue target that it set last September for fiscal 2029.
