EUR/GBP

A reliable technical floor appears to have been established around the 0.8600 – 0.8620 zone. After bouncing firmly from this immediate support and validating multiple historical lows, the pair is building an upward bias, with buyers now setting their sights on a potential retest of the 0.8700 level. Despite the bullish buildup, we could see the high keep getting lower while the lows mostly the same. It is a descending triangle pattern which is bearish if breakout confirmed.

GBP/JPY

Despite securing an extended bullish close during yesterday’s session, GBP/JPY has come under fresh bearish pressure today. The pair is rotating lower in intraday trading and is currently closing in on the critical structural breakout level established during the post-BOJ intervention sell-off. We still expect more upward attempt, but traders will stay cautious on possibility of another BOJ intervention.

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF locked in a positive bullish close yesterday but has failed to find strong directional follow-through today. Following an initial intraday upward push, the pair has lost immediate momentum and transitioned into a mostly sideways, compressed trading range. As the pair has printed lower swing low, the situation favors bearish scenario, especially when there is strong bearish rejection.
