With another quiet day on the calendar the market is likely to take its cue from changing risk tone today. A fresh bout of pessimism entered the market yesterday on US-China trade concerns and Asian equities traded mixed overnight waiting for some clear direction. The Nikkei was down -0.5% on detrimental JPY flows, but the Hang Song was up +1.2%.
So, today, the market will be focused on a fresh sentiment driver on that changing US-China risk tone. Watch our for breaking headlines during the day and corresponding moves on the JPY, CHF and gold charts.
