Forex Technical Cross Pairs analysis July 16, 2020

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY closed the previous trading day on the bearish side. The pair trend is bullish for short-medium-term as long as it could maintain the positions above 121.50. Currently, traders will wait for a bearish correction toward the 121.50 level. If the pair reaches the support level and formed a bullish reaction then traders could consider adding more long positions.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 121.50

Resistance: 123.30

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP closed lower in the previous trading day but maintained the close inside the Tuesday range. The overall trend of EUR/GBP has turned bullish when the pair moved back above 0.9000. At the current time, traders might want to avoid taking short positions. If the pair could print higher high above 0.9174 then traders will expect further continuation toward 0.9300.

Support: 0.9000, 0.8920

Resistance: 0.9300

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY still could not breach the 135.00 – 136.00 area. The pair continue stuck near the area and will continue consolidated near it. Traders could see a triangle pattern formed on the daily chart. The pair soon will test the bottom of the triangle.

If the pair could maintain the positions above the trendline then traders could enter long positions while expecting breakout above 135.00 – 136.00.

Support: 133.00, 132.50

Resistance: 135.00, 136.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF returned near the 1.1870 and closed near it. The pair canceled the bearish pressure and avoided further weakness. At the current time, there is chance the pair could continue moving upward and target 1.2000. No change to the strategy yet, traders could use 1.1870 and 1.2000 as the levels to look for short positions.

Support: 1.1700, 1.1500

Resistance: 1.1867, 1.2000
