U.S futures mostly flat before the weekly opening
DJIA futures holding out near the zero lines today after the previous Friday bearish close. This week will become the busiest week with major companies reporting earnings results. Stimulus talk might become the focus of the market however the chance for massive stimulus might be low. Inflation is expected to shot up if stimulus poured into the market and it might cause the Fed to raise the interest rate.
When interest-rate increased then we might see some downfall in the stock market.
Asian & European Stock market
The Asian stock market mostly higher today. Japan stock market up 190.84 points (+0.67%) to 28,631.45, China stock market up 17.49 points (+0.48%) to 3,624.24 and Australia ASX 200 up 24.30 points (+0.36%) to 6,824.70. The European stock market slightly lower. DAX Germany down 0.20%, UK FTSE down 0.23%, and Euro Stoxx600 up 0.11%.
Technical Analysis
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
DJIA made a bearish close on Friday and could mark the start of a bearish correction. Same as previous analysis, a bearish correction is due and if it happens at the current level then 30,000 will be the level to watch. If the bearish pressure continues to mount then the daily SMA 200 is the next target.
Comcast Corp (CMCSA)
CMCSA share prices are in a bearish pullback since the $52.49 top. The share prices will test the daily SMA 100 soon. If it continues moving lower then the horizontal level around $46.00 will become the support level to watch. Long positions near the $46.00 and daily SMA 200 could be considered.
