Ares Management Corp (NYSE:ARES) stock rose 4.49% (As on February 6, 11:42:08 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company has completed its acquisition of all outstanding shares of BlueCove Limited, a London-based systematic fixed-income manager, according to a press release statement. The integrated BlueCove business will now operate as Ares Systematic Credit, a new strategy within the Ares Credit Group. The systematic credit division offers fixed-income strategies that use data and technology to deliver investment solutions across high-yield, investment grade corporates, convertible bonds, and other liquid credit instruments. Further, the net income attributable to the company (GAAP basis) was $54.2 million compared with the $177.3 million in the year-ago quarter. As of Dec. 31, 2025, Ares Management had $488.9 million of cash and cash equivalents and $2.6 billion of debt.

Moreover, the company’s fee-paying AUM increased 31.5% on a year-over-year basis to $384.9 billion. Further, the perpetual capital AUM rose 49.7% year over year to $200 billion. As of Dec. 31, 2025, total AUM was $622.5 billion, up 28.5% from a year ago. The rise was primarily driven by commitments to drawdown funds, capital raised across perpetual vehicles, the acquisition of GCP International and additional managed assets from the insurance platform.

ARES in the fourth quarter of FY25 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $1.45, missing the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $1.71, according to the Zacks Consensus Estimate. The company had reported the adjusted revenue decline of 5.6 percent to $1.17 billion in the fourth quarter of FY25, missing the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $1.63 billion. The company’s total expenses increased 27.3% year over year to $1.25 billion from the year-ago quarter.

Additionally, Ares Management Corporation announced it has raised approximately $7.1 billion for its Credit Secondaries strategy, marking its largest inaugural institutional fundraise to date. This includes the final closing of the Ares Credit Secondaries Fund, which secured about $4 billion in limited partner equity commitments. Additionally, Ares Management has completed two significant data center transactions in Northern Virginia, expanding its Digital Infrastructure business. The development includes a 314-acre site in Spotsylvania County, which will feature two data center buildings with 200 MW of IT load capacity in its first phase. In a strategic move, Ares Management’s Private Equity Group, alongside DaVita Inc., has invested in home health care provider Elara Caring to enhance access to in-home care for patients with complex medical needs.
