Bitget has achieved a remarkable feat, reaching 12 million monthly active users (MAUs). The app had 2 million downloads, making it the most downloaded Web3 wallet in August 2024. It surpassed other notable apps such as MetaMask and Trust Crypto Wallet.
Bitget gives users the opportunity to create and manage their digital wallets through web2 logins like Telegram, Google, and email accounts. The partnership will result in a 2.7-fold surge in the creation of MPC wallets since it became available to Telegram users.
Bitget Wants To Connect Web2 to Web3 Ecosystem
Chief Operating Officer of Bitget Wallet, Alvin Kan, commented on the partnership. He stated that the platform is offering users the chance to claim more features and more opportunities. He said this became necessary as more than 90% of tokens are now onboarded on decentralized exchanges.
Alvin added that the platform’s objective is to connect web2 to web3, enabling seamless integration of tools. It also makes it easier for users to access crypto, particularly for those users in areas where traditional finance is not adequate.
The increasing popularity of Tap-to-earn games in the TON ecosystem has fueled the growth of the platform. Recently, Bitget Wallet-backed TON app, Tomarket, saw an increase of more than 20 million users within two months, which shows the market’s potential.
Bitget has claimed that its efforts to expand its base have led to notable growth across different regions, with some having more than a 1000% surge compared to the same period last year. The wallet does not support more than 168 countries, and more countries will be added before the end of the year.
Bitget Received $700 Million In Cash Flow In July
Bitget released the performance of its portfolio in July as it climbed up the ladder to become the second most popular wallet in the Japanese We3 market. A month before that, it collaborated with Foresight X to invest in a decentralized trading platform.
The cryptocurrency industry has seen increased interest as it keeps expanding to the mainstream. Bitget is one of the firms benefiting from this surge in interest. The platform reported an impressive capital inflow of $700 million in July, making it the third-best result, with only Binance and Bitfinex staying ahead.
Bitget recently launched a new program that will enable the platform to reach more users. The Task-to-Earn program will focus on financial influencers. The firm will be offering $5 million as a reward to the most engaged influencers and affiliates for its services.
