Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | December 17, 2025

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues to trade in a bullish structure, with price holding near recent highs. The overall trend remains upward, supported by higher highs and higher lows. However, momentum has started to slow as traders become more cautious ahead of the BOJ interest-rate decision this week. While the bullish bias remains intact, near-term consolidation or shallow pullback cannot be ruled out before the next directional move. Traders who has long positions will place stop order below 179.71.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 182.00, 180.54, 180.00, 178.765, 175.00,

Resistance: 183.40, 185.84

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP is trading in a choppy manner near the rising trend line and the 0.8750 level. Price action lacks clear direction, with both buyers and sellers driving the pair up and down sharply. This behavior suggests indecision rather than trend continuation. A new higher swing high or lower swing low might confirm the pair next direction. Under current situation, traders better stay sideline.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8750, 0.8700, 0.8600

Resistance: 0.8800, 0.8850, 0.8920

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY continues to show bullish characteristics and looks set to extend higher toward the 161.8% Fibonacci extension level. Price remains well-supported above previous breakout areas, keeping the bullish structure intact. That said, similar to EUR/JPY, traders are likely to stay cautious ahead of the upcoming BOJ interest-rate decision. Volatility may increase, but as long as support holds, the upside bias remains in place.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 208.00, 207.00, 205.00

Resistance: 210.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is showing signs of weakening after falling below the 1.0660 level. Despite the loss of momentum, there is no clear new lower swing low yet, suggesting sellers have not fully taken control. Price may continue to consolidate or attempt a minor recovery. A confirmed lower low would strengthen the bearish case, while a reclaim of 1.0660 could stabilize the pair. For now, the bias is turning cautious with weakening momentum.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0660, 1.0600, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.0800, 1.1000, 1.1200
