Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | December 18, 2025

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY remains in a bullish structure, but momentum has slowed ahead of the BOJ interest-rate decision. After the recent bullish attempt, the pair is trading slightly lower but continues to hold near the highs. There is no clear bearish breakdown yet, indicating buyers are still defending the structure. Traders are likely to stay cautious until BOJ announce interest-rate. As long as price holds above the previous breakout area, the bullish bias remains intact, but short-term consolidation or mild pullback is possible.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Resistance: 183.40, 185.84

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP continues to move with high volatility around the rising trend line and the 0.8750 level. Price action remains choppy with no clear directional commitment. Buyers and sellers are evenly matched, and false breakouts are possible. Traders are better to wait for a daily close confirmation before taking new positions. A sustained close above the trend line would support bullish continuation, while a rejection could open the path for bearish trend.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8750, 0.8700, 0.8600

Resistance: 0.8800, 0.8850, 0.8920

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY shows a similar behavior to EUR/JPY. The pair attempted to extend higher but failed to sustain momentum, resulting in a mild pullback. Despite the short-term bearish reaction, price remains near the recent high and above key support levels. With BOJ decision approaching, traders might want to reduce risk and waiting for confirmation. A clear break above the recent high would resume bullish continuation, while failure to hold support (206.74) may trigger a deeper correction.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 208.00, 207.00, 205.00

Resistance: 210.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF remains under bearish pressure but has not printed a new lower swing low yet. The recent rebound lacks strength, suggesting consolidation rather than reversal. As long as price stays below key resistance, sellers remain in control. Sideways movement is expected in the near term while the market waits for clearer direction. A break below the recent low would confirm bearish continuation, while a strong bounce and close above 1.0660 might turn the trend bullish again.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0660, 1.0600, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.0800, 1.1000, 1.1200
