Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | July 05, 2022

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY resumes the bearish movement and is now set to target the 137.40 support level. No higher high was printed in the previous bullish attempt. If the pair managed to close below 137.40 then the trend will switch from bullish to bearish for the short-medium term. On the other hand, if the pair could print a higher high near the current level then there is a chance of bullish continuation.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 137.40, 135.00, 134.50

Resistance: 140.50, 145.00, 148.50, 151.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP pushed lower today below 0.8580 – 0.8600 but the pair also immediately recover. If the pair could close above the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area then there is a chance of bullish continuation. However, a close below 0.8580 could become a bearish signal toward 0.8500. Traders will continue to monitor the price movement near the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area for now.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8500, 0.8400

Resistance: 0.8700

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY made another bearish attempt and fell with strong momentum. The pair soon will reach the 161.00 support level. If the support level could hold out against the bearish pressure then we might have a bullish signal. However, a close below the level, followed by a lower low will confirm further weakness toward 158.15.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 161.00

Resistance: 164.00, 165.00, 170.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is trading near the 1.1600 level and under bearish pressure. The pair has not printed a new lower low on the chart. Despite the situation, traders will wait for a bullish correction toward 1.1750 and 1.2000 for a chance to enter short positions. A short position near the current level is shorting the support level which is high risk.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1600

Resistance: 1.2000, 1.2125
