Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | October 24, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY reached the 50% Fibonacci Retracement level and made a strong bullish close. There is no bullish continuation in today’s trading session but the pair might attempt to continue the upward movement. At the current time, the pair is slightly lower to retest the broken weekly high level. Traders will wait for further confirmation for now, whether the pair will resume the bullish movement or reverse the direction to bearish.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 160.00, 155.00, 154.00

Resistance: 163.00, 165.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP stuck near the 0.8325 support level without major bullish reactions. The pair might continue trading sideways near the current level and waiting for further reactions. On the upside, if the pair could bounce from the 0.8325 level, the 0.8400 level will become the resistance level to watch. A breakout below 0.8325 with a new lower swing low might confirm the continuation of a bearish trend.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8400, 0.8500, 0.8530, 0.8580, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY reached the 198.00 level yesterday with moderate bullish pressure. The pair might continue to test the level and seek to break out above it. We are waiting for a major bearish reversal near the current level. However, if the pair breakout and close above 198.00 or 200.00 then the outlook will turn bullish.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 195.00, 193.50, 190.00, 180.00, 178.70

Resistance: 198.00, 200.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF closed below the triangle pattern which might indicate a bearish continuation. However, the pair looks mostly sideways near the 1.1200 – 1.1225 area. As mentioned before, traders will wait for the formation of either a higher swing high or a lower swing low to confirm the pair’s next direction.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1225, 1.1200, 1.1000, 1.0800, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.1360, 1.1400
