Forex Technical Major Pairs analysis September 24, 2019

USDX (USD Index)

No change to the situation of the U.S dollar index. The index traded lower below the bottom of the triangle, but manage to recover inside it. At the current time, the index will try to maintain the level near the bottom of the triangle by the close of day. Traders will continue waiting for a breakout of the pattern before deciding the next direction.

EUR/USD

EUR/USD closed outside of the triangle pattern but not far from 1.1000. It is not a significant bearish close and the pair stick near the support level. No clue on the next direction yet, the pair might continue its triangle consolidation for now.

today critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1000, 1.0900

Resistance: 1.1120

GBP/USD

Deal or no deal, traders and investors are waiting for the final decision of Brexit. GBP/USD slightly higher but no change to the analysis. It could either move higher and test 1.2625 or move lower to test the top of the channel.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 1.2400, 1.2300

Resistance: 1.2500, 1.2600, 1.2625

USD/JPY

USD/JPY makes further bearish correction and tested 107.00 today. The pair recovered its ground and currently traded near 107.40. If the pair could close above 107.40 then we could expect USD/JPY to continue move upside and test 109.00.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 107.40, 107.00

Resistance: 109.00

AUD/USD

A bullish correction is seen in AUD/USD but it has not left Friday range. The pair might continue its bullish correction but traders better avoid long positions for now. If AUD/USD move upward then traders could start looking for short positions near the top of the channel.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.6700

Resistance: 0.6800, 0.6900
