Meanwhile, for the
fourth quarter of 2017, the Revenues reached $15.4 million, which comprises $14.2 million in collaboration revenue, and $1.2 million in royalty revenue from Eisai. The group made a development and commercialization partnership with Everest, a C-Bridge Capital-backed biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative pharmaceutical products in China, for ralinepag and etrasimod in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea. Over $12.0 million of upfront fee was received from Everest in connection with the development and commercialization partnership. As per full year of 2017 performance, the Revenues reached $21.3 million, which includes $19.6 million in collaboration revenue, and $1.7 million in royalty revenue from Eisai. The group got over $7.3 million of revenue from the Boehringer Ingelheim and Axovant collaborations during the period.
The group has a cash, cash equivalents and investments balance of $271.3 million as of Dec 2017 and over 39.3 million shares of Arena common stock were outstanding.
