Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | September 22, 2026

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues to trade within the same tight range as yesterday, displaying mostly flat price action near the 180.11 mark. The market remains in a temporary holding pattern following recent swings, reflecting a lack of strong directional conviction from either buyers or sellers. Until a decisive breakout occurs from this immediate consolidation range or price moves closer to major boundary zones—such as the green box resistance area higher up or key support around 179.71—traders should remain patient and stay on the sidelines.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 178.00

Resistance: 180.00, 183.40, 185.84, 190.00

EUR/GBP

The consolidation in EUR/GBP near the 0.8580 handle continues today. Price action remains confined inside the upper region of the green box area, with neither bulls nor bears demonstrating sufficient momentum to drive a sustained breakout. Given the current pause, traders should continue monitoring price behavior around 0.8580 for further signals. A firm reaction near this pivot—or a push toward the outer boundaries of the green box at 0.8600–0.8620 (resistance) or 0.8525 (support)—will be necessary to confirm the next leg.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8525, 0.8500

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY mirrors the situation seen in EUR/JPY, trading within a tight range similar to yesterday’s price action. The current technical outlook remains completely neutral, hovering around the 209.95 level and just above the 100.0% Fibonacci support level at 209.54. Traders will likely wait for further directional confirmation before entering new positions. Holding above 209.54 leaves room for a potential recovery attempt toward 212.55 (61.8% Fib) and 213.49 (50.0% Fib). However, if bears push price below 209.54, expect a retest of lower support levels at 208.08 and 207.39.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: 208.00, 205.00

Resistance: 210.00, 211.50, 214.965, 218.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF continues its downward movement following recent rejections, edging closer to the previous swing low near the 1.0890–1.0911 region. The pair is currently trading deeper inside the green box consolidation area. The primary question now is whether sellers have enough momentum to break below 1.0890 and push lower toward the bottom of the green box area near 1.0843. If buyers step in near current support levels, a bullish bounce back toward the upper box boundary at 1.0978 could materialize.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0900, 1.0800, 1.0660, 1.0600, 1.0500, 1.03599

Resistance: 1.1060, 1.1100
