Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | August 05, 2025

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY looks will continue the bearish correction. However, the bull seems maintaining the 170.00 level and no breakout below it yet. We might see the pair consolidate near the current level while attempting to resume bearish movement toward the trend line. If the pair bounce higher with strong momentum and erase all of the loss, then the pair will resume the bullish trend.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 170.00, 166.50, 165.00, 163.00

Resistance: 173.00, 175.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP is inside the 0.8700 – 0.8750 area and now under bearish pressure. It might be a temporary bearish reaction before another upward attempt. We maintain bullish view and as long as the pair stay above 0.8600, there is no reason to turn bearish yet.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8530, 0.8500, 0.8430, 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY has broken to the downside, and it looks like the pair found temporary support near the trend line. It might attempt to move higher and retest the broken 198.00 level. However, it is better if the pair resume the bearish movement without retesting the 198.00. On the lower side, a close below 193.50 will confirm the bearish continuation.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 195.00, 193.50, 190.00, 188.00

Resistance: 198.00, 200.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHG made another bullish attempt, but it could not reach the 1.0800 level. The pair trade back to the opening level and might close the day near it. We still expect the pair to resume the bearish trend to target 1.0609 and 1.04475. On the upside, a close above 1.0800 might become a bullish reversal confirmation.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0600, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.0800, 1.1000, 1.1200
