BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded the largest withdrawals among Bitcoin products. It lost approximately $1.21 billion over the last five trading sessions. The fund experienced outflows on all trading days this week. The heavy outflows were recorded on Monday and Friday. $405.3 million and $403 million respectively.

Other Bitcoin ETFs posted mixed results this week. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) ended the week with $93.1 million in net inflows. Bitwise’s BITB also finished with modest net inflows, while Grayscale’s GBTC and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB recorded weekly outflows.

BlackRock’s Ether ETF Also Records Heavy Withdrawals

Spot Ether ETFs faced similar pressure. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) accounted for approximately $345.9 million in weekly outflows. Fidelity’s Ethereum Fund (FETH) was among the few products to finish in positive territory. It recorded $15.3 million in net inflows.

Both Bitcoin and Ether ETF categories recorded only one positive trading session during the week.

Data from Farside Investors shows that weekly Bitcoin ETF withdrawals increased considerably compared with the previous week’s $202.4 million in net outflows.

Institutional Demand Remains Uneven Amid Market Uncertainty

The contrasting performance of major ETF issuers suggests that institutional investors are adjusting their crypto exposure at different rates. Liquidity conditions, monetary policy expectations, and unresolved regulatory questions continue to influence institutional decisions.

The withdrawals coincided with continued volatility across the broader cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin traded near $75,777 at the time of reporting, reflecting the cautious environment surrounding digital assets.

The latest figures highlight the divergence in investor activity across major crypto ETFs. Although cumulative inflows remain significant since the products launched, the scale of recent withdrawals suggests that institutional demand has yet to establish a consistent recovery.
