The pair might continue consolidating and waiting for a new higher high or lower low to confirm the next trend. Traders will continue to stay sideline for now while waiting for the new higher high or lower low.

GBP/JPY broke above the 168.50 resistance level with strong bullish momentum. The pair will test the 2022 high and attempt to extend the bullish movement. There is no reason to enter short positions as the pair moves upward with strong bullish momentum. If the pair start moving lower then it is a chance for traders to enter more long positions. On the lower side, 168.50 and 170.00 is the support level to watch.

GBP/CHF
GBP/CHF is on the path lower but no lower low printed in the previous bearish attempt. At the current time, the pair is trading upward and set to test the 1.1200 and the trendline. If the pair form a major bearish reaction near the trendline and the 1.1200 level then the bearish trend is set to continue. A close above the trendline and a new higher high will become a bullish confirmation.
