Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | August 27, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY is limited below the Fibonacci Retracement levels and looks slowly moving lower. The pair might continue trading sideways near the current level and traders will wait for further reactions. If the pair extend the bullish movement then traders could wait for bearish reactions for a chance to enter short positions. On the lower side, we expect the pair to print a new lower swing low.

Support: 160.00, 155.00, 154.00

Resistance: 163.00, 165.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP continues the bearish movement without any bullish close on the daily chart. A bullish reversal might happen soon but under the current situation, it is better to wait until an actual bullish close happens before deciding a trend change. The pair could continue lower to target the 0.8400 support level. On the upside, 0.8500 – 0.8530 will become the resistance area to watch when the pair starts a bullish movement.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8500, 0.8530, 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY moving sideways near the Fibonacci Retracement levels which means the consolidation will continue. As before, if the pair continues moving upward, traders will prepare to enter short positions when there are bearish reactions near the resistance levels. We still think the pair will resume the bearish trend to target a new lower swing low.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 180.00, 178.70

Resistance: 190.00, 193.50

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF trading is not far from the 1.1200 – 1.1225 area. The pair keep moving sideways at the moment and there are no major reactions. Will the pair breakout upside and extend the bullish correction toward the green box area? Alternatively, will it resume the bearish trend and target a new lower swing low on the chart?

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1000, 1.0800, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.1200, 1.1225
