Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | September 29, 2026

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY is experiencing increased bearish pressure as price drops toward its previous swing low near 177.79 to test support. A breakdown below this level and the formation of a new lower swing low would confirm a bearish trend continuation, opening the path for a deeper decline toward the 127.2% Fibonacci extension target at 175.58. Conversely, if 177.79 holds firm, a temporary bounce toward 179.71 (23.6% Fibonacci level) could take place.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 178.00

Resistance: 180.00, 183.40, 185.84, 190.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP has pushed lower after printing a new swing high near the 0.8620 area. However, because the pair has not yet created a new lower swing low, there is still no definitive technical confirmation of a bearish continuation. For the bearish momentum to solidify, sellers need to drive the price decisively below the key support line at 0.8551. Falling below 0.8551 will pave the way for a continuation of the broader downtrend toward 0.8525 and 0.8500.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8525, 0.8500

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

Similar to EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY is under renewed bearish pressure as price action slides back down to test its recent swing low near 207.39. Market participants are watching whether the pair will break lower to print a new lower swing low. A confirmed breakdown below 207.39 will validate a bearish continuation toward 204.66. If buyers step in to defend this low, a recovery toward the 208.08 and 209.54 resistance levels remains possible.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: 208.00, 205.00

Resistance: 210.00, 211.50, 214.965, 218.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF has turned bullish once again after a previous test near its swing low triggered a strong buying reaction. The upward momentum has brought the pair back toward its previous swing high near 1.1060. A successful breakout above 1.1060 would clear the way for higher targets at 1.1100 and 1.1121. Should the move encounter resistance and pull back, support is expected to appear around 1.0984–1.0978.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0900, 1.0800, 1.0660, 1.0600, 1.0500, 1.03599

Resistance: 1.1060, 1.1100
