Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | October 22, 2020

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY closed lower yesterday, erased all of the Tuesday gains. The bearish reaction from 125.00 seems to take place and the pair might continue lower. However, the pair has not moved lower yet and it is currently trading inside the previous day range. If the bull could reverse the current bearish pressure and make another strong bullish close near 125.00 then EUR/JPY set to breakout above 125.00 next.

EUR/GBP

The bear has the upper hand after the rejection from the green box area. EUR/GBP once again set to test the 0.9000 support level. Under current strong bearish pressure, it seems the 0.9000 support level will be broken and the pair set to move lower to test the blue trendline.

today critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.9000, 0.8920

Resistance: 0.9100, 0.9300

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY continues its bullish movement and soon will test the previous week’s high. No stop to the bullish pressure yet and traders will avoid short positions as long as the bullish close continue. At the current time, traders will wait for the reaction near the previous week’s high.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 136.00, 135.00

Resistance: 140.00, 142.50

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF made a major bullish close, engulfed more than 10 candles (ignore the candlesticks wick). It seems a strong bullish signal that the pair will continue moving upward to target 1.2000. However, there are multiple highs above the current level and the pair needs to break out above it first.

Traders who have long positions could continue to hold the positions until a major bearish candlestick close happens.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1870, 1.1750

Resistance: 1.2000
