Bitcoin Bull Run Is Over, Says CryptoQuant CEO

Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, a platform that provides cryptocurrency market data, believes on-chain indicators are suggesting Bitcoin ($BTC) bull run is over. He further mentions that for the next 6 to 12 months, price of Bitcoin is expected to follow bearish or sideways trends. Moreover, liquidity for Bitcoin has dried up because almost $1 billion have been pulled out by the investors in a single week. Due to low prices, investors are selling their BTC as they are not seeing any bullish momentum in the crypto market in the near future. Due to this they are not keen to invest in Bitcoin in the coming days.

Ki Young applies PCA to on-chain metrics such as MVRV (Market Value to Realized Value ratio), SORP  (Spent Output Profit Ratio), and NUPL (Net Unrealized Profit\Loss) to evaluate the performance of BTC. The ratio of MVRV shows if the cryptocurrency is undervalued or overvalued. Investors can get an awareness about the market by looking at these metrics. Users can know the sentiment of the market and this identification of the sentiment makes them able to decide whether to invest at this crucial time of the crypto market or not. With the knowledge of the market, investors can create buying or selling opportunities for themselves.
