Forex Technical Cross Pairs analysis April 23, 2020

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY extend its bearish movement today and fall below 116.30 support level. The downward movement also reaches the 115.80 support level. If the pair could close below both support levels then traders could expect further bearish continuation.

The support level of around 114.80 will become the next target to watch.

Support: 115.80, 114.80

Resistance: 116.30

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP losing altitude and testing 0.8700 – 0.8750 area again. We think the current bearish attempt might reverse and EUR/GBP will start moving higher again. Traders who place long positions could continue to hold it and place stop below 0.8700.

Support: 0.8700

Resistance: 0.8750, 0.9000, 0.9300

GBP/JPY

The horizontal support level around 132.50 continues holding GBP/JPY from further bearish pressure. The pair currently consolidate near the support level and will wait for further reaction. As long as there is no close below 132.50, the pair could bounce and test 135.00 – 136.00 again.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 132.50, 130.00

Resistance: 134.50, 135.00, 136.00

GBP/CHF

The retest of 1.2000 is under progress now in GBP/CHF. The pair has not shown bearish reaction and currently continue to stick near the level. As long as there is no major close above 1.2000, traders could start entering short positions with the expectation that the long-term bearish trend will continue.

Support: 1.1600

Resistance: 1.2000
