Grand capital has announced some changes in the trading conditions relating to Russian stock CFDs. The changes will see the collateral requirement for those instruments go up from 10 percent to 30 percent. The changes have been explained by the forex trading and binary options broker as being a result of changes in trading conditions imposed by Grand Capital’s liquidity providers. The change is applicable to all currently open positions.
The three liquidity providers for Grand Capital are Currenex, LMAX Exchange and Swissquote. The brokerage company which has operated since 2006 offers many Russian stock CFDs including Aeroflot, Gazprom, Bashneft, Lenta, Lukoil, Megafon, Magnit, Sberbank, Yandex and VTB among others.

The Seychelles-registered award-winning broker has offices in Asia and Europe. There are more than 250 financial instruments on offer for trading through Grand Capital. They include classic forex, stock CFDs, futures and binary options.
It is only recently that Grand Capital announced that it was applying for a trading license from CySEC (Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission). Currently, the broker operates under a B-Category license issued by the Financial Commission, which is an organization tasked with resolution of external disputes based in Hong Kong.
Financial Commission
The Financial Commission (FinaCom) acts as a third party arbiter in disputes involving binary options and forex markets between clients and its members. The commission has a compensation fund enough to cover judgments of up to $5,000 and in some cases $10,000 for each client depending on a company’s license type.
Minimum deposit
The minimum deposit requirement for opening an account on Grand Capital is just $10. There are variable spreads on offer. The spreads on commission-free accounts average 2.5pips on Euro/USD which is relatively high in the forex market.
Maximum leverage
Grand Capital offers among the highest maximum leverage rates among forex brokers, reaching up to 1:200. Although there are leverage caps in some jurisdictions, most brokers offer a minimum leverage of 1:500. The problem with high leverage levels for traders is that they increase the risk level exponentially.
Payment methods
There is a wide array of payment options available to Grand Capital’s clients. They include wire transfer, Visa/Mastercard, e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill, Perfect Money, FasaPay, OKPay, WebMoney, RegularPay among others. Grand Capital is also among the few that allows deposits and withdrawals in Bitcoins.
Trading platforms
Grand Capital, just like most forex brokers supports the Meta Trader 4 platform, which can be customized to fit virtually all trading situations, preferences or skill level. The platform is available in web, mobile and desktop versions.
