EURUSD is rising for first time in 3 days ahead of Germany’s confidence data and inflation in Europe

EURUSD rose on Friday the first gain in three days , and the first weekly gain in the last three weeks, due to slowing demand levels in the US currency , On confidence in Germany’s business climate, and on key inflation levels in Europe in January.

EURUSD rose by 0.15% as of 07:28 GMT, trading at $ 1.1348, the opening price at $ 1.1333, the highest at $ 1.1349 and the lowest at $ 1.1330.

Yesterday, EURUSD lost less than 0.1% , its second consecutive daily loss, after weak manufacturing data in Germany and Europe, which boosted signs of a sharp decline in European economic growth.


Over the course of week, Euro has so far gained 0.5% against the dollar, achieving its first weekly gain in the past three weeks as slowing demand for the US currency as the best alternative investment, with notable progress in US-China trade talks.

Investors are looking ahead to a number of important economic data in the euro zone on Monday, confidence in Germany’s business climate, Europe’s largest economy in February, and key inflation levels in the final reading of consumer prices in Europe in January.

By 0900 GMT, IFO Institute of Business Climate Index in Germany is expected to rise 99.0 points from 99.1 points in January.

The final reading of consumer price index for January is expected to rise by 1.4% on the same preliminary reading, and prices rose by 1.6% in December. Excluding food and fuel prices, the same preliminary reading is expected to rise by 1.1% %, And prices rose by 1.0% the previous month.
