Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | December 14, 2021

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues to stick near the 128.00 level for now. Traders are waiting for the Fed FOMC meeting this week which expected will announce more aggressive tapering. If the pair continues moving lower toward 127.00 then traders could prepare long positions near the level after a bullish reaction formed.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 128.00, 127.00

Resistance: 130.00, 131.50, 132.00, 133.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP pushed lower yesterday and tested the 0.8500 support level. The pair manage to bounce from the level and closed near the opening level. It also closed above the trendline which means the broken level was maintained. Traders could expect the more upward movement to retest the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area. If the area is broken then EUR/GBP long-term trend will turn bullish.

Support: 0.8500, 0.8400

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY supported at the 149.20 – 150.00 area and now waiting for a bullish reaction. If the pair could bounce from the area then it will target the 153.50 resistance level. On the other hand, if the pair breakout and closes below 149.20 then the long-term trend will switch to bearish and traders better avoid long positions.

Support: 150.00, 149.20

Resistance: 153.50, 156.58, 160.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF range tightens day by day which means the situation is neutral for now. The overall trend is bearish which suggests further bearish movement after the consolidation is finished. If the pair continues moving lower then 1.2000 is the downward target. On the upside, 1.2300 is the level to break to reverse the short-term bearish trend.

Support: 1.2000

Resistance: 1.2300, 1.2500, 1.2600, 1.2700
