Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | August 30, 2023

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY extended the bullish movement for the fourth day. Despite the situation, there is no higher swing high printed on the chart yet. If the pair turn lower again with strong bearish momentum and form a lower low then the bearish trend might start. On the other hand, if the pair could form a new higher high then the bullish trend could continue.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 155.00, 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 160.00, 162.87, 171.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP currently testing the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area and traders will wait for further reactions. If the pair could continue to build the bullish pressure and print a new higher high then the bullish movement could continue toward 0.8700. On the other hand, major bearish reactions from the current level could start a new bearish leg to target a new lower low.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY stalled yesterday as the pair closed near the opening level. There is no strong bullish pressure which means the pair could continue the bearish correction toward 182.45. Traders will observe the pair reactions near 182.45 and 178.50. As long as the pair could bounce upward and print new higher highs and higher lows then the bullish trend could continue.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 182.45, 178.50, 172.00, 170.00, 168.50

Resistance:

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF was mostly under bearish pressure and the pair formed another bearish candlestick close yesterday. The pair might continue under bearish pressure and traders will continue to monitor the pair’s reactions. If the pair could continue the bearish movement and print a new lower low then the bearish trend will continue. On the upside, a close above 1.1200 could overturn the current bearish trend.

Support: 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1200, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
