BingX, a cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with Franklin Templeton, a global asset manager. The partnership is intended to launch BXUSD, a yield-generating product. BSUSD is designed to give users access to returns linked to professionally managed money market funds. The product combines exposure to traditional financial yields with flexible access to funds and utility for futures trading on the BingX.

BingX announced this news via its official account on X. In its announcement, BingX highlighted BXUSD’s instant subscriptions, flexible redemption options, and collateral functionality. The product will allow eligible users to earn yield while using their holdings as margin for futures positions. During the initial launch period, BXUSD will offer a reference APY of approximately 4.3%.

How BXUSD Yield Product Works
Users can easily subscribe to BXUSD using USDT and receive BXUSD at a 1:1 ratio. According to BingX, the product’s yield is generated through exposure to US Treasury-related funds managed by professional asset managers, including Franklin Templeton. Its annual percentage yield (APY) is updated daily. The rewards are automatically credited in BXUSD to users’ spot accounts.
The product has no lock-up period and offers two redemption options. Fast redemptions take approximately one minute and carry a 0.1% fee. The second option, standard redemptions, follow a T+3 settlement period with a 0.05% fee. Subscriptions have no fee, and the minimum entry amount is 0.1 USDT.
BXUSD can also be transferred to futures accounts and used as margin under multi-asset mode. BingX says that one BXUSD carries a margin value equivalent to one USDT. Users can therefore maintain eligible futures positions while continuing to accrue yield.
BingX and Franklin Templeton Expand Access to Real-World Yields
The partnership reflects growing efforts to bring traditional financial returns into cryptocurrency platforms. Franklin Templeton’s role in the partnership is to manage the underlying US Treasury money market funds that generate the real-world yields paid out to BingX users holding BXUSD.
However, the product should not be confused with a conventional stablecoin or direct ownership of the underlying funds. BXUSD is described as a platform-managed wealth product. The stated yield is also variable rather than guaranteed.
