U.S stock futures hang on the positive side after President Trump condition show improvement

The U.S stock market futures mostly higher today after the previous week slump. Traders and investors reacted positively to the health improvement of President Trump. If the situation promising then the President could be discharged from Walter Reed hospital later.

It is better to continue to monitor the situation at the current time before committing to any major positions.

Asian & European Stock market

The Asian stock market mostly higher today. Japan stock market up 282.24 points (+1.23%) to 23,312.14, China stock market closed and Australia ASX 200 up 150.10 points (+2.59%) to 5,941.60. European stock market also on move higher. DAX Germany up 0.82%, UK FTSE up 0.73%, and Euro Stoxx600 up 0.74%.

Technical Analysis

Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)

DJIA index closed the day near the daily SMA 50 also the 28,000 resistance level. The index might trade between 27,000 – 28,000 this month while traders waiting for election results next month. Today, the DJIA futures higher more than 200 points which indicate a bullish opening.

Traders will observe the index reaction near 28,000 today.

Exxon Mobil (XOM)

XOM share prices slowly move lower even though the share price managed to bounce in March. The downward movement of XOM share prices could be attributed to the weakness of oil prices. In the long-term, we think oil prices will make recovery.

Traders could observe the XOM share price movement when it gets near the March low.
