FX industry veteran Amar Vadher has been appointed by FXSpotStream as the company’s Infrastructure Manager. FXSpotStream LLC is the aggregator service of LiquidityMatch LLC.
The new manager has been in the FX industry for nearly two decades. He was Head of Technology at R5FX before the recent appointment by FXSpotStream.
R5 offers electronic non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) and an electronic marketplace for emerging market foreign exchange (EMFX).
A busy year for FXSpotStream
FXSpotStream has been very busy lately both in the financial market and the labor market. The company is planning to expand its services and cover more regions. As a result, it has appointed top experts who can fill various positions in the firm.
Last year August, the company appointed Hajime Tezuka to head its Tokyo-based sales force and grow its market in the region.
Last month, FXSpotStream added more members to its management team by appointing Hajime Merg Limani as the regional support manager in the U.S.
Also, the firm stated that it has also appointed Rhys Bryan to head its London sales team.
However, the company lost the services of one of its team members Henry Durrant, who was the firm’s Assistant Vice President.
FXSpotStream says there are lots of growth opportunities for the firm, and it wants to position its workforce to be ready for such growth when it happens.
The company was formed in 2011 and has maintained its business model since it was formed. The firm reiterated that it took the right approach to listen to both its internal and external customers, which has fostered its growth.
A veteran in the industry
Vadher spent the majority of his financial carrier at tech provider FXecosystem. There, he took several roles, which culminated as Head of Technology.
His role at the company was centered on providing connectivity service for the bond and FX market, for more than 6 years.
FXSpotStream offers a multi-bank aggregation service for spot FX trading. It offers the infrastructure required to facilitate trade route from clients to liquidity providers.
The company is a bank-owned consortium that provides a client-to-bank platform required by each liquidity taker to establish credit relationships with participating banks.
It is different from other services offered by other multi-dealer platforms like FX ECNs offering EBS and Hotspot markets.
