The company has achieved double-digit ACV and revenue growth while delivering industry-leading margins. The company has added to the market-leading portfolio with the acquisitions of Phoenix Integration and Zemax. And the company recently released the latest version of the product portfolio, Ansys 2022 R1, which is enabling customers to save time and money while spurring innovation. Q4’s outperformance resulted in full year 2021 ACV growth of 16% and revenue growth of 13% and 14% on a GAAP and non-GAAP basis, respectively. The company has delivered non-GAAP operating profit margin of 46.8%, generated operating cash flows of $101.7 million and has annual contract value (ACV) of $755.4 million. The company has deferred revenue and backlog of $1,257.9 million on December 31, 2021.

ANSS in the fourth quarter of FY 21 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $2.81, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $2.71 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 5.1 percent to $655.67 million in the fourth quarter of FY 21, from $623.69 million last year.
For full-year 2022, Ansys expects non-GAAP EPS to be in the range of $7.64 to $8.10 on revenue expected to be in the range of $2.04 billion to $2.11 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are expecting normalized EPS of $7.95 and revenue of $2.1 billion.
Meanwhile, Ansys has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), identifying the CSP as the preferred and recommended partner for Ansys Gateway powered by AWS. The collaboration will enable deployment of Ansys products on AWS — making simulation workloads more user-friendly, while offering scalability and flexibility with easy access to software and storage solutions from anywhere with a web browser. By leveraging connected ecosystem applications in a cloud environment, Ansys customers will reduce time to market, reduce costs, and innovate faster.
Further, Wistron Corporation, a smart handheld device manufacturer, is using Ansys simulation software to automate 5G cellular antenna power density analysis and optimize signal coverage. Ansys HFSS enables Wistron Corporation to simulate and measure antenna performance faster than more expensive, low-yield, instrument-driven alternatives.
