The company hopes that the new location will support its growth in India and enable it to secure a significant market share.
For the longest time, Apple has been eyeing the Indian market, hoping to secure a significant market share. However, the tech giant has faced challenges in opening physical retail stores in India. The retail store that Apple will launch in India is brightly-lit, and it was inspired by Kaali Peeli taxi art which is iconic and unique to Mumbai. The statement issued by Apple on the matter refers to the decades-old yellow and black taxis in the city.

The logo depicted by Apple on this store is made up of multiple colors and there is also a version of the iconic Apple greeting on the store saying, “Hello Mumbai.”
