This statement follows Binance’s gaining of a license from the AIFC Financial Services Authority (AFSA) in October last year. It granted the company permission to operate a digital asset platform and offer custodial services within the AIFC.

Kazakhstan Boosts Communication between AIFC and Crypto Exchanges

During a press conference held on June 20, 2023, many relevant stakeholders joined forces. It includes government authorities, representatives from Kazakh banks, and Binance Kazakhstan officials. Asset Turysov is Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Digital Development. He revealed that the country’s administration has initiated an exclusive effort. It will enhance communication between the AIFC, cryptocurrency exchanges, and intermediate financial institutions. Many have Collaborated in this successful effort for this platform. It includes the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Development of the Financial Market.
Freedom Finance Bank Partners with Binance
Turysov emphasized the substantial growth of the cryptocurrency industry in Kazakhstan over the past year. He attributed it to the concerted efforts of regulators. Binance has played an essential role in supporting the country’s regulatory framework, and general policy for crypto assets. It also comprises various educational programs targeted at law enforcement and regulators.

The introduction of the new exchange in Kazakhstan has also seen the Freedom Finance Bank stepping forward. The bank has provided a service that agrees customers to directly deposit fiat currency into their platform accounts. Ablaykhan Ospanov, MD of Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan JSC, hailed the pilot project for digital currency exchanges in Kazakhstan. Ospanov believes that other nations can learn from Kazakhstan’s example. He envisions a flourishing future for the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
