Binance is now looking for low-cap projects amid risk management initiatives. The last couple of months have been crucial for the crypto industry in different ways. Many crypto platforms had to suffer at the hands of SEC’s rules and regulations and even faced court and penalties. Amid such a scenario, Binance has adopted risk management initiatives and started supporting low-cap projects to boost liquidity. Moreover, prevention of market manipulation is of prime reason behind supporting small projects.
Binance’s Strategic Planning Against Market Manipulation
During the last week, Binance carved out a strategic planning and contacted different small projects and inquired about the details. The core purpose of the contacts was to learn about the ties of those projects with the market makers. Moreover, to know the willingness of those small projects who want to invest in the saving products of Binance. Specifically, Binance officials focused on projects willing to contribute 1-5 per cent of circulating coins to take interest by saving accounts.
The spokesperson of Binance shared that this outreach to smaller projects is the strategic part of the planning to prevent market manipulation. They are aimed to list tokens on the exchange of smaller crypto outfits for liquidity and trading pairs. Moreover, engaging with the market makers would ultimately mitigate the risks and help in expansion. Another important thing about this outreach is that it’d help to contribute to saving pools i.e., Binance Savings.
Saving Products of Binance
Binance offers its associated projects and users to get rewards in terms of interest on their tied tokens. The rate of interest on tied tokens will be based on the term or duration. Such types of products remained under the scrutiny of regulatory authorities. Before the filing of bankruptcy charges, a few other platforms like Voyager Digital, Celsius and BlockFi offered high rates of interest on crypto deposits.
