BitTorrent Releases BTTC 2.0 Upgrade and Adjustment to Staking APY

As a part of this strategic upgrade, the BitTorrent is unveiling an exclusive upgrade of its native token $BTTC. The $BTTC 2.0 upgrade comes along with the latest adjustment to the staking Annual Percentage Yield (APY). In this respect, the staking APY will reportedly be modified to 6%. These developments are taking place before the release of BitTorrent’s upcoming update that is scheduled for June 2025.

This endeavor is focused on improving the on-chain consumer base while also reinforcing the value momentum of $BTTC. Based on the deflationary tokenomics framework of $BTTC, the cumulative production of the $BTTC 2.0 tokens will start tapering at June’s beginning. The respective decrease endeavors to boost token scarcity.

In addition to this, the move will also contribute to the establishment of a relatively sustainable basis for the further ecosystem growth.
