The commissions and fees increased by 15.4% and Organic Revenue increased by 13.8%. Income before income taxes was $275 million, decreasing 22.8% from the fourth quarter of the prior year with Income Before Income Taxes Margin decreasing to 23.2% from 34.7% as a result of a gain on disposal of certain third-party claims administration and adjusting services businesses sold in the fourth quarter of 2023. EBITDAC Adjusted was $390 million, increasing 22.6% from the fourth quarter of the prior year with EBITDAC Margin Adjusted increasing to 32.9% from 31.0%. Net income attributable to the Company was $210 million, decreasing $59 million, or 21.9%, as compared to the fourth quarter of the prior year.

BRO in the fourth quarter of FY 24 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of 86 cents, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of 77 cents, according to data compiled by LSEG. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 15.4 percent to $1.18 billion in the fourth quarter of FY 24, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $2.47 billion. Its investment income increased to $22 million, compared with $18 million in the year-ago period. Insurers typically invest a portion of their capital across asset classes such as fixed-income securities and equities, which tend to generate returns in line with broader market trends.

Additionally, the company has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share. The dividend is payable on February 12, 2025, to shareholders of record on February 5, 2025.

On the other hand, Nexus Underwriting, a Brown & Brown group business, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Arma Fusion Limited, the parent company of Arma Underwriting Limited.
